(Chris) I grew up in the Essex countryside and always enjoyed outdoor sporting activities. Mountain Biking, Rock Climbing and BMXing were my favourite sports. I had the opportunity to travel in my early twenties and decided to go across the water to America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. I experienced some of the best Biking and Climbing I had ever done and came back with a real thirst for more. Having a limited budget and struggling to get time of work, France seemed like a good option, so I headed over to Chamonix/Les Gets and fell in love with the place. I had completed a couple of winter seasons in France and decided to go back to New Zealand to teach snowboarding in Queenstown. This was where I met Beth and we both talked about setting up an adventure Chalet company in France. Seven years, two children and lots of fun later, we now run our successful Chalet Company based in Les Gets France. I have the opportunity to mountain bike, road cycle and climb all summer, before getting ready to Ski every day in Winter. It's a lot of hard work, but I love meeting new people and passing on my passion and love for the mountains and these amazing sporting activities.

(Beth) I lived and grew up in Aberystwyth where I could regularly be found surfing the sea waves in my Kayak. With the Welsh countryside right on my doorstep I loved being involved in all the outdoor sports. After completing a sports management degree at Northumbria University I went on to work for Outward bound at their centre in Aberdovey in Wales. I really enjoyed working with young people and helping them achieve goals that they didn't think were possible. I wanted to travel and managed to get a job working for Rock and Ropes in Taupo in New Zealand. During the winter season I worked in Queenstown as a ski lift operator. I bumped into one of the snowboarding instructors one day up the mountain and he offered to teach me to snowboard! We got chatting and talked about setting up a Chalet Company together - that was several years ago and now we both live and run our Chalet business in Les Gets. My hands are full looking after our two children, but I love bringing them up in such a wonderful environment. My favourite sports in summer are biking, running and wakeboarding. I have completed several of the local events including the Mont Blanc half marathon. I love meeting people, especially families, and enjoy helping to ensure all our guests holidays run smoothly and everyone gets to experience all that is on offer out here.
