An excellent location for a family skiing holiday and particularly good for beginers and intermediates, but still offers challenging runs for stronger skiers including easy access to Avoriaz and "The Wall".
Les Gets is made up of the popular Chavannes Bowl and the quieter Mont-Cheri ski area.
The Chavannes Bowl - The main objective for most skiers, it is filled with blues, reds and some blacks off a number of high capacity lifts. From the top of the Perriers Express lift (located right next to our Chalets) tree lined runs can be a delight on powder days. From here you access the rest of the via Chamossiere, Nyon, Morzine and beyond.
Mont-Cheri - The other side of the village is the Mont Cheri bubble lift. The ski area is brilliant for more advanced skiiers and anyone wanting a more challenging day. The southern slopes are wide open red and blues, where there are often ski races races and training going on. There is also an amazing area for off piste skiing through trees and down through a wide open area known as 'the locals secret spot'. On the north face there is a good red and a great wide, bumpy black pitch leading to the Col d'Ancrenaz. Out of high season and in good snow Mont Cheri can be an unpisted playground.

Portes du Soleil:
The Portes du Soleil has been one of the biggest players in world skiing for the last 40 years, with 12 linked resorts either side of the French-Swiss border just an hour from Geneva: Abondance, Avoriaz, Châtel, La Chapelle d'Abondance, Les Gets, Montriond, Morzine-Avoriaz, St Jean d'Aulps, Champéry, Morgins, Torgon, Val-d'Illiez - Les Crosets - Champoussin.
This genuine Natural Powder Reserve at the heart of the Alps offers skiers unspoilt surroundings, mountain lifts that keep a low profile amid snowbound forests, pistes that wind their way through snow meadows, spruces and mountain chalets that have stood the test of time.
The ski area enjoys exceptionally good snowfall from mid-November to the end of April, with an average of 8m of powder every year.
The Portes du Soleil offers visitors a unique ski experience that we call "ski safari": just click into your bindings at your chalet and go exploring from resort to resort, valley to valley - and even from country to country...
