There are trails to suit everyone including: Access to the Portes du Soleil area (580km of MTB tracks), Lifts operating all summer (3 at Les Gets and 24 throughout the whole Portes du Soleil area), Colour coded tracks to match ski slope degrees of difficulty, Runs ideal for family biking at Les Chavannes, Runs for more hard-core riders at Mont-Chéry which includes a bike park.

If you love Snowboarding, then Wakeboarding is definitely for you. You will be pulled along by a speedboat for a guaranteed adrenalin filled ride. Set on the beautiful Lake Annecy in France which is 27km in size, the water varies between 19 and 24 degrees C. Lake Annecy prides itself on being the cleanest lake in Europe.

There are hundreds of hiking trails all over the area which offer breathtaking views of the French & Swiss Alps. Choose from the massive selection of sign posted routes Mid Altitude hikes, or hire a guide to take you off the normal walking tracks to identify the alpine flora & fauna. There are also several High Altitude hikes close by where you can experience walking on a Glacier by hiring a qualified guide, choose from Glaciers in the Mont Blanc range, Switzerland or Italy!


Via Ferrata - Les Gets

A fantastic opportunity for first time climbers to experience a breathtaking adventure. Climb a mountain face using permanently fixed safety gear, a harness, helmet and your camera! Using a variety of natural ledges and man made steps & bridges – both beginner and experienced climbers can ascend to the spectacular views at the top.

Swimming Lake - les gets

Supervised swimming is available at the Les Gets Lake which has a life guard on duty during the day from June until September. The average temperature during July & August is 22 degrees C. There are also football & basketball courts, a beach volley ball court, a children’s play area and a fun water slide.


Grass Scooters - les gets

Descend the Vieux Chene Piste on an all terrain grass scooter! An exciting descent to the centre of Les Gets. The drag lift takes you up for an effortless ascent, and the breaks on the scooter allow you to descend at your own speed!

The Les Gets 18 hole golf course is an opportunity to experience your game together with magnificent views across the surrounding valleys and mountains. The greens and fairways are maintained immaculately and provide a largely technical course amidst beautiful mountain woodlands.

Children can enjoy a 30 minute pony ride around the Les Gets Lake, or an easy ½ day trek. The ponies are calm and well looked after for your children to safely explore the area. Horse rides are also available for adults and children over 13 years old from 2 hours to half a day.

There are four high ropes adventure courses of increasing difficulty for children from 8 years old to adults of any age! A variety of challenges such as rope bridges, high beams and swings are set up for you to navigate and enjoy! In addition, the park offers a bungee jump for anyone brave enough…..!

Fishing
Fishing permits are obligatory in the area and are available from the Tourist Office. The Chavannes Lake is only 20 minutes on foot from Les Gets.
