Si vous pr\u00e9voyez de partir en vacances en France ou dans d’autres pays europ\u00e9ens l’ann\u00e9e prochaine, il y a une mise \u00e0 jour importante \u00e0 conna\u00eetre : l’introduction de l’ETIAS<\/strong> (European Travel Information and Authorization System, syst\u00e8me europ\u00e9en d’information et d’autorisation pour les voyages). Bien qu’il ne s’agisse pas techniquement d’un visa, il s’agit d’une exigence obligatoire pour les citoyens britanniques \u00e0 partir de 2025<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Qu’est-ce que ETIAS ?<\/h3>\n

ETIAS est un syst\u00e8me d’autorisation pr\u00e9alable au voyage con\u00e7u pour renforcer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des voyageurs entrant dans l’espace Schengen<\/strong>, dont la France fait partie. Bien qu’il ressemble \u00e0 un visa, il s’agit plut\u00f4t d’une autorisation de voyage – comme le syst\u00e8me am\u00e9ricain ESTA – qui permet aux citoyens des pays exempt\u00e9s de visa, y compris le Royaume-Uni, d’entrer pour de courts s\u00e9jours allant jusqu’\u00e0 90 jours au cours d’une p\u00e9riode de 180 jours<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Pourquoi le syst\u00e8me ETIAS est-il introduit ?<\/h3>\n

Suite au Brexit, les citoyens britanniques ne b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient plus de la libre circulation dans les pays de l’UE. L’ETIAS a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en place pour surveiller les voyageurs et garantir la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 dans l’espace Schengen. Le syst\u00e8me aidera les autorit\u00e9s \u00e0 contr\u00f4ler les visiteurs avant qu’ils n’entrent en Europe, pr\u00e9venant ainsi les risques potentiels pour la s\u00e9curit\u00e9. <\/p>\n

Quand entre-t-elle en vigueur ?<\/h3>\n

Le syst\u00e8me ETIAS sera pleinement mis en \u0153uvre en 2025<\/strong>. Par cons\u00e9quent, si vous pr\u00e9voyez de vous rendre en France ou dans un autre pays de l’espace Schengen, vous aurez besoin de cette autorisation avant d’embarquer sur votre vol ou dans un autre moyen de transport. <\/p>\n

Comment poser sa candidature \u00e0 l’ETIAS<\/h3>\n

Bonne nouvelle : l’obtention de votre permis de voyage ETIAS est facile et rapide !<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Demande en ligne<\/strong>: L’ensemble de la proc\u00e9dure s’effectue en ligne et prend g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement environ 10 minutes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Informations requises<\/strong>: Vous devrez fournir des informations personnelles (nom, adresse, coordonn\u00e9es), des informations sur votre passeport et r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 quelques questions de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de base.<\/li>\n
  3. D\u00e9lai d’approbation<\/strong>: dans la plupart des cas, l’approbation est accord\u00e9e en quelques minutes<\/strong>. Toutefois, il est recommand\u00e9 de d\u00e9poser votre demande au moins 72 heures<\/strong> avant votre d\u00e9part. <\/li>\n
  4. Le co\u00fbt<\/strong> est de 7 euros<\/strong> pour les<\/strong> adultes : Le co\u00fbt est de 7 euros<\/strong> pour les adultes. Les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es de moins de 18 ans<\/strong> ou de plus de 70 ans<\/strong> peuvent s’inscrire gratuitement.<\/li>\n
  5. Validit\u00e9<\/strong>: Une fois accord\u00e9, votre ETIAS est valable jusqu’\u00e0 3 ans<\/strong> ou jusqu’\u00e0 l’expiration de votre passeport, selon la premi\u00e8re \u00e9ventualit\u00e9.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Que se passe-t-il apr\u00e8s l’approbation ?<\/h3>\n

    Une fois votre demande approuv\u00e9e, votre autorisation ETIAS est li\u00e9e \u00e9lectroniquement \u00e0 votre passeport, ce qui signifie qu’il n’y a pas de documents suppl\u00e9mentaires \u00e0 transporter. Vous devrez pr\u00e9senter votre passeport au contr\u00f4le frontalier et l’autorisation ETIAS sera v\u00e9rifi\u00e9e automatiquement. <\/p>\n

    O\u00f9 s’applique l’ETIAS ?<\/h3>\n

    ETIAS couvre les 27 pays de l’espace Schengen<\/strong>, dont la France<\/strong>, l’Espagne<\/strong>, l’Italie<\/strong> et bien d’autres encore.
