Lift Pass Prices – Winter 2020

The village of Les Gets has a long history as a winter sports resort being the location of the first Ecole du Ski Français which opened here in 1940. Les Gets is an attractive, small, family-friendly resort with a very French feel to it, partly because of appetising food and wine available on the pistes or in the village. It’s charming, relaxed, and full of its own unique character and ambience. The area of slopes that it shares with Morzine offers the most extensive local network in the Portes du Soleil, it’s possible to strike out in most directions on skis with a regional pass, or just stay local with a Les Gets-Morzine only ticket.

Les Gets:

An excellent location for a family skiing holiday and particularly good for beginners and intermediates, but still offers challenging runs for stronger skiers including easy access to Avoriaz and “The Wall”.

Les Gets is made up of the popular Chavannes Bowl and the quieter Mont-Cheri ski area.

The Chavannes Bowl – The main objective for most skiers, it is filled with blues, reds and some blacks off a number of high capacity lifts. From the top of the Perriers Express lift (located right next to our Chalets) tree lined runs can be a delight on powder days. From here you access the rest of the via Chamossiere, Nyon, Morzine and beyond.

Mont-Cheri – The other side of the village is the Mont Cheri bubble lift. The ski area is brilliant for more advanced skiers and anyone wanting a more challenging day. The southern slopes are wide open red and blues, where there are often ski races races and training going on. There is also an amazing area for off piste skiing through trees and down through a wide open area known as ‘the locals secret spot’. On the north face there is a good red and a great wide, bumpy black pitch leading to the Col d’Encrenaz. Out of high season and in good snow Mont Cheri can be an unpisted playground.
