Often overlooked as a lunch option, this convenient stop close to the lower section of the Chavannes ski area is great for a good value, quick food break. It makes our list because it is simple, friendly and has a good choice of well-made burgers, sandwiches and salads and let’s face it, you don’t always want a gourmet lunch every day of the week. During the summer, the restaurant overlooks the swimming lake that sits just above the town but in winter it’s possible to ski in and ski out via a blue run (Bluet) from the Chavannes Chairlift. Non skiers can access the lake and restaurant via a free shuttle bus.
